PT Salim Ivomas Pratama Tbk, together with its subsidiaries, produces and sells edible oils and fats in Indonesia, China, Singapore, Nigeria, Timor Leste, India, the Philippines, Germany, Ghana, Papua New Guinea, Haiti, and internationally. It operates through two segments, Plantations, and Edible Oil and Fats. The Plantations segment develops and maintains bearer plants, such as oil palm, rubber, sugar cane, timber plantations, cocoa, coconut, tea plantations, and agroforestry; and engages in other business activities relating to processing the produce into finished goods, as well as the related marketing and selling activities. The Edible Oil and Fats segment produces, markets, and sells edible oils, palm oil products, margarine, fats, RBD palm stearin, palm fatty acid distillate, shortening products, and other related products. The company is also involved in oil palm seed breeding; management and transportation services; research management and technical services; bulking stations; plantations, trading, services, photography, and air transportation for photography and mapping; marketing; and the artificial primary macronutrient mix fertilizer industry. In addition, it engages in the investment in the agricultural technology and cultivation businesses, and in the development of agriculture, forestry, fishery, and trading; research; agriculture, industrial, and agency/representative; and house prefabrication activities. The company sells products under the Bimoli, Bimoli Special, Happy, Amanda, Palmia, Royal Palmia, Delima, Malinda, and Simas brands. It exports its products. The company was formerly known as PT Ivomas Pratama and changed its name to PT Salim Ivomas Pratama Tbk in February 1994. PT Salim Ivomas Pratama Tbk was founded in 1992 and is based in Jakarta, Indonesia. PT Salim Ivomas Pratama Tbk is a subsidiary of Indofood Agri Resources Ltd.
